A Beautiful Day!

It has been absolutely gorgeous today!  Sunny, breezy, TV off, house open and fresh air abounds.  I am listening to G play with her friend girls outside.  What a wonderful sound of laughter and giggles!

I love that G would rather be outside than in the house in front of a TV or playing video games.  It's easy not to play video games when you don't own a Wii, Xbox, Play Station or whatever else is out there.  I am grateful Rick and G do not care to have one.

Maddy, the Beagle, and I played outside with them for a little while, and now Maddy is snoozing.  It's been a great day, and I am content for many reasons.  God is good!  :~)

Sweet Friends....

LOVE these two little girls even though one of them is not officially mine!  I still claim her. :~)  Big G and Little G had a "picnic" outside today.  The G's are enjoying the longer days and the "warmer" weather.

Conversations With The G...

Georgia fell asleep in the car from school to Grammy's house today.  I told G she must have been tired.  G replied, "I'm not tired.  My eyes just wanted to close, Momma."  :~)

G's ready to run errands and do a little shopping.  :~)

Upwards!

This was G's first year to participate in Upwards.  It was a good experience for her to play actual games.  G has taken fundamental basketball classes through the county.  She was so upset basketball was over!  I am glad G enjoys it, and while she does we will continue to let her play.  G starts an instructional basketball league with the county in mid-April.  :~)

Valentine's Day...

G's Valentine's Day gift.

A little chocolate to go along with some good reading.

G made a Valentine's Card for me.

A sweet note from a sweet girl.

G made this Valentine's Card for both parents at school.

January 2011 Snow...

This was the only significant snow we had for the winter.
