The Polka Dot Dress!!

One of my favorite things is to go to Mistletoe Marketplace in Jackson every year with my mother and friends. One of the must "go to" booths for me or anyone with a little girl is the Amanda Remembered booth. The dress in the picture below is from there. G racks up on dresses every year thanks to Grammy! Yes, G is showing her muscles in the last picture! ;-)

Yard Work With Georgia...

Since living in Maryland I have enjoyed taking care of my yard more than ever, which use to be not at all. I planted Sweet Kates under the tree in our front yard last year. They are so pretty when they bloom. This year I ordered mulch from the youth fundraiser at church, and G helped me put it out. I told her I needed to go in the house and get my gloves. G said, "I got gloves too, mommy!" She returned with the pink ones below that are for winter. I didn't say anything because that is what a washing machine is for, and she had a good time playing in the "dirt".

Smithsonian Kite Festival

The Garner family went to DC for the Smithsonian Kite Festival, which is part of the Cherry Blossom Festival. The pictures below are of us trying to fly a kite, the cherry blossoms, and my sick child. My thermometer was broken, and I didn't realize it. It became clear that little G was sick when we were in the National Gallery of Art. G started shaking like she was severely cold, and the gallery was HOT! I know, I'm a bad momma, but I have two new thermometers!

Easter

These are the only pictures we have from Easter. After church, we went directly to the 1st round of the Women's NCAA tournament. Didn't even stop to get a picture of G in her dress, which she wore all day. I'll have to post pics of her in her Easter dress another time.
