Christmas 2010

Christmas 2010 at the Garner House.

We always have a real tree, but opted for an artificial one this year.  Love it!!  The Santa on top of the armoire use to be my grandmother's.  She put it on her coffee table every Christmas.

G's goodies from Santa.  She also received a scooter, which is not in this picture.  G fell in love with "Yes, Virginia" from the Macy's Day Parade.

G left pictures for Santa.

Christmas morning coming down to see what Santa left her.

Notice G's posse on the ottoman.

Reading her note from Santa.

Checking out the stocking.

Reading her "Yes, Virginia" book.

Aunt E trying on the tutu.

Poppy showing off his University of Kentucky cufflinks.

Grammy showing off her china.

Aunt E's pottery bowl.  I am so pleased she likes it.
She's a hard girl to buy gifts for.

Sweet little Christmas Elf.

Aunt E plays Elf too.

Pete and repeat.  These two are soooo much alike.

Poppy needs a new video camera.

The aftermath.

Lego Birthday Party...

A school friend of G's had a birthday party at the Lego Store and pizza at Remono's in the mall. At Remono's there were two ladies painting the kids' faces. G had a blast!!

NYC Ice Krame!

In October, Grammy, G and I went to New York to see Aunt E's new apartment and to help her shop for furniture.  Near the end of the day, we were soooo tired from running around on the Upper West Side!  Grammy and Aunt E ran into one last store while I entertained the G on the street with some Dora ice krame (How G says ice cream!).  Sorry Apple store for the ice cream prints we left on your windows.

One Sunday in November, we went to Mid-Atlantic Seafood & Produce for lunch.  G hung out with Poppy to pick up our lunch.  She loves her pink lemonade!!

Train Ride to NYC!

The Wednesday before Thanksgiving we took the train to NYC. I sat with Poppy, Rick sat with G, and Grammy....

Yep, the lady next to Grammy took her shoes off and propped her feet on the seat in front of her on a crowded Amtrak train.  Sooooo NASTY and RUDE!!
