Spring Break 2010

The family went to Ocean City for Spring Break. The weather was beautiful! The pics below are of Grammy and G sitting on the dock at the condo. The other is Grammy freezing because we had the window cracked for fresh air. Those were the only pictures I took. The Boardwalk was fun, Thrasher's was delicious, and Fishers was sweet!

Coconut Kids...

G LOVES to wear dresses! This Summer is definitely going to be a Dressy Summer. While we were in Ocean City for a few days during Spring Break mom and I stopped at Coconut Kids, a kids clothing store at the beach. Below are a few of the dresses I bought for the G. The dresses are much cuter in person and on the G. She gave us a fashion show including music and a runway.

A Caged BoBo...

Bones is also known as BoBo at our house. He is the youngest of our two cats. Rick walked into the kitchen this afternoon and found BoBo sitting in Maddy's (the Beagle) crate. Since when does a cat WANT to be in a cage?

Central Park Easter Egg Hunt...

Central Park did not have an Easter Egg Hunt this year. Aunt E, G, and I had our own. We hid eggs in two different areas. The second hunt did not go as well as the first because we did not pay attention to the ground conditions. It was such a joy when G ran through it, lost her flip flop and had a melt down. Girls and mud don't always go well together, unless it is in a spa. LOL!! However, the weather was gorgeous in NYC today!

Conversations With The G...

Georgia got up really early this morning, which gave us time to talk. Keep in mind we are headed to New York tomorrow for a girl's weekend with Aunt E, and she is soooo excited. G already has her suitcase packed and her outfit for Friday picked out. Here is our conversation:

G: “Momma….where did THIS (dye kit for eggs) come from in my suitcase?!”

Me: “I put the kit in there last night so we didn’t forget it.”

G: “Good job, Momma!”

….Short Pause….

G: “Momma, where’s the color?”

Me: “G, that is what the kit is for. It has all the color we need.”

G: “Oh….what about the eggs?”

Me: “Aunt E will take care of the eggs.”

G: “Hmmmm….Aunt E has to get milk and juice too! I told her that last night.”
