Sunrise at Old Hilltop

Grammy and I went to Sunrise at Old Hilltop (Pimlico) the Friday before The Preakness. If you are in the area, go next year. It's free and includes a tour of the grounds, and a chance to watch the morning workouts on the track. It was amazing to hear the sound of the horses breathing as they ran. What an awesome animal!

Kindergarten Graduation

The G graduated from Kindergarten today from First Baptist School. We love having G attend a school that shares and teaches the Bible. Where does the time go?

The classes also sang "Deep In The Heart of Texas" for

The Preakness

Rick and I went to The Preakness in May. It was a lot of fun, especially since it involved my two favorite things, horses and people watching, LOL!

The chair and The Black-eyed Susan.

The hats...the good and the ugly!

The infield and the Met Life blimp.

The gate and the horses out first.

Around the last turn and towards the finish line.
