Oh...My...First Public PeePee Incident!!

It was my day off yesterday, so Georgia and I spent the day together. First we took my car to get an oil change and new windshield wipers. We sat in the waiting room coloring and watching Veggie Tales on my iPod. It was a lovely morning. G had to go to the bathroom...we made it in time. We left the dealership and met Grammy and Poppy for a hot dog at Costco. Can't beat a dog and a drink for $1.50 per person.

Then our real adventure began. Poppy, Grammy, G, and I went to Silver Spring, Maryland to go to Talbot's Kids. The Talbot's Kids at our mall closed. I wanted to go to another one because I had gotten G a hot pink head band there. Why are we looking for another one. G knocked it off her head and into the potty at California Tortilla. Yes, I reached in and got it and threw it away. Wouldn't you throw it away?

Talbot's Kids is eventually closing their Kids division. So, we thought we might get a head band and other deals. Found Talbot's Kids and bought G a couple of head bands, no hot pink. We also went to Gymboree. I don't normally shop at Gymboree because I think they are expensive, but Grammy wanted to go in. Well, they were having a sale. Needless to say, Grammy bought the girl a few things.

While Grammy stopped somewhere else, G and I went into Hanna Anderson. I get their catalogs, but had no idea there was a MD store. The lady told me it was a brand new store - only open for a couple of weeks. I begin to shop the clearance rack because Hanna Anderson is expensive too, when my little one says she has to go to the bathroom. Yeah, Hanna Anderson has its own public bathroom. As I begin to prepare the potty for G's hiney my little one says, "I can't hold it mommy" and pees on the floor and in her shoes. Yes, if you have a little girl who sits on the potty, you have to prepare it. G broke in the new bathroom floor for Hanna Anderson. First, I stripped her and grabbed something off the clearance rack. G got a new dress because she had to wear something. Mom walks in, I tell her I need panties. She asks the sales lady if they have any and buys them for G at $6 a pair. I buy G's panties at WalMart - 6 pairs for $5. G did not get new shoes. She had to wear the peed on ones back to the car, where I took them off and cleaned her feet.

Before leaving the bathroom, I wiped the floor, cleaned the floor, sprayed it with Lysol, and apologized to the ladies. See, I stopped carrying extra stuff almost two months ago because G was doing so good. However, G was not fazed. She pranced out of Hanna Anderson in her new dress, new undies and peed in shoes like she was the princess we all know she is. Mommy on the other hand was cringing inside thinking of having to walk in those peed in shoes. Yuck!!
