Conversations With The G...

Grammy helps us out by taking G to ballet every week.  They have some wonderful conversations in the car.

G:  "Grammy...is Momma going to look like you when she gets old?"

Grammy:  "G, what do you mean?"

G:  "Is Momma's hair going to stick up on her head like yours when she gets old?"

My mother has a very cute and spikey hairdo, but I don't think it'll ever be for me.  Love my G!

Conversations With The G....

G:  "Grammy, do you see the cradles in the moon?"

Grammy:  "G, are you sure cradles is what they are called?"

G:  "YES Grammy...their CRADLES!  I know I'm right because I learned it in school."

A Beautiful Day!

It has been absolutely gorgeous today!  Sunny, breezy, TV off, house open and fresh air abounds.  I am listening to G play with her friend girls outside.  What a wonderful sound of laughter and giggles!

I love that G would rather be outside than in the house in front of a TV or playing video games.  It's easy not to play video games when you don't own a Wii, Xbox, Play Station or whatever else is out there.  I am grateful Rick and G do not care to have one. 

Maddy, the Beagle, and I played outside with them for a little while, and now Maddy is snoozing.  It's been a great day, and I am content for many reasons.  God is good!  :~)  

Sweet Friends....

LOVE these two little girls even though one of them is not officially mine!  I still claim her. :~)  Big G and Little G had a "picnic" outside today.  The G's are enjoying the longer days and the "warmer" weather.

Conversations With The G...

Georgia fell asleep in the car from school to Grammy's house today.  I told G she must have been tired.  G replied, "I'm not tired.  My eyes just wanted to close, Momma."  :~)
