Just Finished Reading...

Nice read! My first thought about this book...I would not refer to this book over the Bible on telling me how to define God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit or my relationship to them. The Bible will always by my primary resource. Wow, forgiveness can be so hard, but it is so important. Anything about Missy in this book just stabbed me in the heart! Ever since G joined our family anything about kids just gets me whether it's real or not. It is a good book and very much on the fantastical side as stated in the Foreword.

My Upmost For His Highest

My Upmost For His Highest is one of my favorite books. I have read this book almost every day since junior high until we moved. When we moved from a house in Jackson to a townhouse in MD, a lot of things went into storage - ALL of my books! Yesterday I needed to kill some time before picking up the G, so I went to Family Bookstore and picked up my 4th or 5th copy of this book. My parents bought me my first copy, and I think I got the rest as gifts. Since all of these are in storage, I bought another one. If you have never read from this every day, I recommend it! After the Bible, it is a great devotional book!

Zoo Day

I went with Georgia's class to the Maryland Zoo yesterday. We love the Maryland Zoo and have a membership because we go several times during the year. The zoo guide gave G's class instructions for their day while including what different animals do or sound like. This is why the kids are making funny faces in some of the pictures.
